Teeth cleaning

We remove built-up plaque and tartar to prevent cavities and gum disease. The foundation of every healthy mouth.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get one?

In most cases, twice a year is recommended. If you tend to build up tartar or have some degree of gum disease, it may be every 3 months.

Does it hurt?

A cleaning can cause some sensitivity, especially if there's built-up tartar or your gums are inflamed. It's generally tolerable and doesn't last long. If you're very sensitive, we can use anesthesia.

Does cleaning damage the enamel?

No. It's done with ultrasonic instruments that remove tartar without affecting healthy enamel. The idea that cleanings wear down your teeth is a myth.
